We all have some version of the single arm plank. This version is no different but definitely tougher. Of course you should know it'll build core strength, endurance and all that good stuff but the toughest thing is upper body strength and endurance that is needed to hold a plank while performing the One Arm Plank - Kettlebell Shoulder Press.
This variation is somewhat awkward given your body is not a perfect plank position but I would say a modified because of one arm. Additionally, the weight is shifted to one arm to stabilize the body, prevent rotation, and sinking of the hips, which is common. What makes things interesting is the toughness of the shoulder press, helping you build massive shoulders, traps, etc.
One thing I must mention is some great advice from @dr.joelseedman_ahp how he mentions in his this article ( http://www.t-nation.com/videos/tip-th...) when your cheating you'll want to put your body into cervical hyper-extention and tilt the head up to chest and causing massive strain.
