If you have a highly modified 2011 to 2017 Ford Mustang GT or Boss, or are planning some big-power mods in the future, you might want to consider this McLeod RXT Twin Disc Clutch. It can handle up to 1,200 crank horsepower, making it perfect for anyone wanting to go extreme with their pony.
You get a twin disc configuration with this clutch, plus a 23 metric spline. Thankfully, the design allows for a smooth pedal engagement, so it's not something you can only really use on the strip or at the track. The twin discs also dissipate heat better, making this setup more reliable than a single disc. This means you can still drive your car around town on public streets, which is a big plus.
All 2011 to 2017 Ford Mustang GT and Boss models with the MT-82 transmission are compatible with this clutch, so keep that in mind before ordering one.
Both discs are made of ceramic, for excellent durability and heat dissipation. The pressure plate, floater plate, adapter ring and pilot tool are all made of steel.
